We are BrewDog. And we are on a mission to make other people as passionate about great craft beer as we are.

In 2007, BrewDog was born in north East Scotland. Bored with industrial lager and mass market brews, we set out to change the world of beer forever. We (James & Martin) brewed small batches of craft beers in our garage, bottled it by hand, and sold it at local markets. In 2007 we decided to take the plunge and turn our hobby into a little business. So, we got a bank loan, some second hand steel tanks and started brewing the beers that we wanted to drink. BrewDog was set up with 2 humans, one dog and a big mission to share our passion for amazing craft beers. Today, we export our beer all over the planet, employ over 1,000 incredible beer-evangelists, and we’re the #1 craft beer in the UK.

We are committed to putting the passion, the flavour and the artisan craftsmanship back into people’s beer glasses. We want to change the world of beer and introduce people to spectrums and dimensions of flavour they never knew existed. We combine Scottish water and British malts with the best quality hops sourced from all over the planet to brew our full flavour beers. We believe in the power of craft beer to change the world. One glass at a time.

As well as changing the world of beer, we want to change the world of business. Our groundbreaking business model means we are part owned by a community of over 90,000 people who love great beer as much as we do. We are officially one of the best companies to work for in the UK, and with the Unicorn Fund, we give away 20% of our profits each year. 10% to our crew and 10% to charities chosen by our crew, and by our Equity Punk community.
